About NGF

Norwegian Geophysical Society is a special interest group for Norwegian scientists within geophysics, and its aim is an improved collaboration within the geophysical sciences. The society was established in 1917 and has around 200 members from disciplins within meteorology, oceanography, hydrology, earth physics, ionosphere physics and vulcanology. Membership in the Norwegian Geophysical Society also includes a membership within the European Geosciences Union (EGU) or the American Geophysical Union (AGU).
